The TRIBE7 OBSCURA37 is a 37mm pinhole PL-mount lens engineered by TRIBE7 (co-founded by cinematographer Bradford Young, ASC). Designed to revive the classic camera obscura aesthetic for modern cinematography and photography, it produces a soft, low-fidelity, dreamlike aesthetic with low contrast, organic flares, and smooth highlight roll-off. Because it operates on light diffraction rather than glass refraction, it offers zero chromatic aberration or barrel distortion.

• Optics: Eliminates optical glass entirely, utilizing a micro-engineered precision 277-micrometer pinhole aperture.

• Focus: Features near-infinite depth of field and thus no focus ring at all.

• Image Circle: Covers all digital sensor and film formats including large format/medium format.

• Exposure: Requires very high ISO (6400+ in daylight) due to the tiny f/133 aperture

• Mount: PL mount- adapters separately available for all mirrorless cameras
